The AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap is an innovative accessory that uses a pressure-actuated valve to eliminate drip through and maximise control over the brew process.
This filter cap is designed and made by AeroPress in the USA and fits perfectly on all AeroPress coffee makers, namely the AeroPress Original, AeroPress Go and the new AeroPress Clear.

Complete Brew Control
Attach the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap to any AeroPress coffee maker to stop drip-through. This allows you to extend brew time without adopting the precarious “AeroPress Inverted Method”. It also allows you to experiment with coarser-ground coffee.
How to Use
1. Insert the filter of your choice – metal or paper (or we use a cotton coffee sock)
2. Twist the Filter Cap firmly and tightly onto the AeroPress chamber.
3. Now you’re ready to brew! When using remember to apply gentle consistent pressure to the AeroPress Plunger and expect some resistance (which is normal).
How to Clean
Before first use, wash the Filter Cap with warm water and dish soap (do not use harsh chemicals such as bleach). Alternatively you can place the filter cap on the top rack of your dishwasher.
For day to day use, a simple rinse is sufficient to clean your AeroPress Filter Cap. However, it is also recommended to occasionally give your filter cap a thorough wash with soap and warm water. You can also was the filter cap on the top rack of your dishwasher.
